My team and I created an event poster and promotional materials for SF State’s Theatre & Dance 2022 production, Dealing Dreams, as part of a collaborative design student working group.

Poster Concepts
The play was set in Silicon Valley, so I explored different designs alluding to the digital screen. I implemented symbols like widget shapes, text bubbles, and pixelation that echoed early internet and smartphone landscapes.
Final Designs
After meeting with our clients we went forward with the first design, creating a 24” x 36” poster. We also designed corresponding invitation postcards that had a matching design on the back, with added keyboard characters and language that fit the themes of the play.
