WARP is the 2022 thesis exhibition of the Art MFA Students at San Francisco State University. In collaboration with the graduate MFA students, my team and I were tasked with conceptualizing the brand identity of and designing promotional material for the exhibition.

Layout
The unique challenge presented to us was creating an identity that would both best represent the different themes of the artists’ work while also allowing room for their work to shine. We explored both sans serif and serif fonts and ultimately found that the classic early 20th century typeface, Neue Haas Grotesk, best communicated a clean, minimalistic feel that would highlight the work of the artists. The catalog also relies on a modular grid system to achieve this.
